Traditional

Worship

First  Methodist Church is committed to the finest in traditional worship to the Glory of God. Our traditional worship services include choirs, hand bells, organ and piano combining into a rich and meaningful spiritual experience. They are rich in heritage and current in traditional music and liturgy.

While other churches are scrapping their choir lofts or covering their stained glass windows with curtains so that projectors might shine during daylight hours, we have moved in the opposite direction. We cherish pews, pulpits, choir lofts, daylight streaming through the stained glass, and the deep resonant sound of the pipe organ. The multitude of voices lifting the roof in praise of God leading an energetic congregation in hymns is the texture and taste of this worship service glorifying our Savior. We are dedicated to nergetic, passionate, uplifting, and spirit-filled worship that gives you friends to love, a cause greater than yourself, and the kind of worship that fills an empty soul and charges your spiritual batteries for the week ahead.

We have all levels of commitment. Whether you are richly skilled or simply desiring to begin, there is a place for you.

John 4:24 “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
