At First Methodist Church, we believe that scripture teaches us that there must be a connection between what we believe and how we live out our beliefs in the world. We are called to “be doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive ourselves” (James 1:22). We are called to make the love of Christ real by giving of ourselves and our resources. We seek to provide a variety of opportunities for persons to use their gifts and abilities in mission and service to our church, our community, and the world.
